 During the year, we introduced a new
approach to developing our corporate strategy. Plans drawn up by Business Directors for
their individual core businesses were integrated into an overall Corporate Plan with
coherent and cohesive strategies for achieving the Authority's objectives. Serving as an
important management tool, the Corporate Plan also communicates our aims and objectives to
the community and generates greater accountability for our performance.During the year
the Housing Department, restructured its operations, streamlining activities along
business lines with a greater focus on responsibility. The Department now consists of 4
