The Housing Department Control List System comprises building materials / components and their suppliers, which have been vetted and considered to be in compliance with the specifications at the time of admission. The Control List system is applicable to our building contracts tendered out before 1 June 2004, serving as reference to the project teams, contractors and suppliers, with the purpose to ensure quality consistency and improve operation efficiency through minimizing the efforts required for laboratory testing and document vetting when materials are proposed for use in building projects.
The Control List System is managed by the Components & Materials Team of the Housing Department in accordance with the practices and guidelines in force from time to time, including those set out in the Rules of Administration. Projects tendered out after 1 June 2004 will not adopt Control List System.
No application for admission onto the Control List System is accepted.
