Commercial Premises Rental Applicants


You Have the Rights:

to obtain full information on the tendering procedures, eligibility criteria and details of the premises on offer;
 
to know the terms and conditions of the tender or proposed letting;
 
to obtain the information on the number of shops and types of trades in our new shopping centres;
 
to know our progress in handling your tender and be notified of the result;
 
to participate in restricted tenders and to ask for detailed information on this from our Redevelopment Sub-section if you are a commercial tenant affected by redevelopment.
 
You Have the Responsibilities:

to submit the completed tender documents together with the deposit (cheque or cashier order) before the close of invitation;
 
to provide full and accurate information about yourself and your partner(s) / limited company, substantiated by documentary proofs upon our request, and ensure that the declarations made are true and accurate;
 
to attend the pre-letting interview punctually and complete the signing-up formalities.

We have set up enquiry counters at the Non-Domestic (Headquarters) Management Unit to provide assistance. A tender box is placed at the Non-Domestic (Headquarters) Management Unit for collection of completed tender documents during the invitation period.
 
Upon the close of invitation, we will conduct checks to sort out the valid tenders received. We will inform you in writing of the tender result. If you are successful, you will be invited to complete signing up formalities. If you are unsuccessful, you will be refunded the deposit paid.

Our Performance Pledge:

We will carry out vetting of your tender and let you know whether it is valid within two weeks of the closing date of invitation. We will give you formal notice of the tender result within 25 days of the closing date of invitation;
 
We will refund the tender deposit within 18 days of the closing date of invitation if your tender is not accepted;
 
We will invite you in writing to attend an interview one week before the grant of lease.
