Tenders are invited weekly for leasing of new and vacant commercial premises, including factory units. Details of the commercial premises to let, including location, area and designated trade are advertised in newspapers every Friday. Please click here for details.
For factory estates with vacancies exceeding 5% we will let the units at their assessed values. Prospective tenants can lease these units on a first-come-first- served basis.

Applicants should note that all tenancies are on a fixed term of three years without an option to renew. Prospective tenants shall accept the premises in the state and condition in which they are found at the date when possession is given and shall be responsible for the fitting-out of the premises to meet the requirements of the HA, the Fire Services Department, the Labour Department and other relevant authorities. Prospective tenants shall obtain from the appropriate authority or authorities at their own expense all licences and permits that may be required in connection with the business to be operated in the premises.
The Housing Authority (HA) has adopted more stringent and objective measures to deal with the irregularities commonly found in its factory estates under the Factory Marking Scheme.
The scheme targets at offences associated with abuse of the factory units and common areas, as well as misdeeds undermining building control or posing hazard to fire safety, environmental hygiene and public safety.
Penalty points will be allotted according to the degree of seriousness of the offences and will be held valid for two years. Tenants will be alerted once their accrued points have reached 10 or above, while the Housing Depratment (HD) will take action to terminate the tenancy when the marks accumulate to 16.
