The Transport and Housing Bureau (Housing) has set up a telephone hotline and this web page to receive complaints and views from members of the public relating to the provision of information in sales brochures of local uncompleted residential properties.

If you are calling outside the operating hours, you may leave your name and contact telephone number in the message box. We will contact you as soon as possible.

Guidelines issued by the Real Estate Developers Association of Hong Kong (REDA)
Since 2001, REDA has established a self-regulatory regime asking developers to comply with its guidelines when selling uncompleted residential units for sale. These guidelines can be downloaded from the web sites of the Consumer Council and the Estate Agents Authority. "

Transport and Housing Bureau - Privacy Policy Statement
All personal data supplied by a complainant will only be used for purposes which are directly related to the complaint case concerned. The same may be transferred to parties who will be involved in the investigation of the case, including the party being complained against, relevant Government Departments, related authorities and organizations, as well as other agencies which are authorized to receive such information.

In accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, a complainant has the right to request access and correction. A fee may be charged for supplying copies of the information kept by this Bureau. Request for access and correction may be made in writing and addressed to the Secretary for Transport and Housing at 6/F, Block 1, Housing Authority Headquarters, 33 Fat Kwong Street, Ho Man Tin, Kowloon. Please quote your complaint case number.
