Decoration Checklist for HOS Flats

*More

Flat owners can either use their own decoration contractor or choose one from the Housing Department's (HD) Approved List of Decoration Contractor. Owners will be held responsible for any damage to the public area or facilities caused by their decoration contractors;

For security concern, owners must provide the management office with the contractor's information in a prescribed application form. The management office will issue permits to the workers before decoration works can commence;

Decoration within the flat must not affect the building structure or common facilities. It must also not cause any nuisance or damage to other properties;

In order to up-keep the building structure and maintain the good appearance of the building, external walls and windows must not be altered in any way;

Flat owners should urge the contractor to comply with regulations set out by the management office and take special notice of the following items:
- Do not leave any construction and decoration materials in public areas;
- Do not dispose of any cement, sand or debris in the toilets, water closets or drains;
- Do  not damage the lifts, corridors, ceilings, walls and other public area or facilities when moving furniture or decoration materials;
- Move all decoration waste and debris to the collection points designated by the management office for proper disposal.

For further enquiries concerning decoration works, please contact the management office.
