Check Application Status

Picture: Public Rental Housing General Waiting List
Public rental housing (PRH) applicants who have successfully registered on the Waiting List can check the latest application status. You can also click here to read about your rights and responsibilities as a PRH Waiting List applicant.
For enquiry on progress of individual application, please dial Housing Authority  Hotline: 2712 2712 (24 hours services).
Note: 1. Changes of address or change of family particulars, or any change in the choice of districts, etc. should be reported to the Housing Department immediately.  Failure to do so may affect an applicant's chance of selecting a flat.
  2. Applicants must respond to all enquiries raised by the Housing Department regarding their applications within the specified time.
  3. Waiting List applicants under the Elderly Person Priority Scheme, Families with Elderly Persons Priority Scheme, who opt for one flat in the Harmonious Families Priority Scheme, or with a Waiting List Application Number not exceeding G1186146/U0186094 (i.e. Waiting List applications with date of registration or equivalent date of registration on or before 30 September 2006) may choose for allocation of public housing flat located in the urban area (including Hong Kong Island and Kowloon).
4. Applications of 'non-elderly one person' registered under the Quota and Points System of the Waiting List before 1 September 2009 and reached  the score point of 131 on 1 September 2009 have been investigated.
5.
The lowest score for Waiting List non-elderly one person applicants (registered under the Quota and Points System of the Waiting List), accepting public housing offers in individual application district are: 136 points (Urban), 135 points (Extended Urban), 133 points (New Territories), 132 points (Islands). Since the number of non-elderly one person applicants and public housing supply in individual application district are different, the lowest score accepting offer in various districts will not be the same.  Applicants can reconsider their choice of application district according to their individual requirements and imminence of their housing needs. However, the choice of waiting for Urban public housing (including Hong Kong Island and Kowloon) is subject to restriction outlined in item 3 above. Furthermore, as the priority of allocation depends on the points being awarded to Waiting List applicants under the Quota and Points System which are related to their ages at the time they successfully registered and there are comparatively more older applicants joining the Waiting List during particular period, the lowest score accepting offer may increase instead when compare with that of previous month.
6.
The highest Waiting List application accepted public housing offer showed in Table C and D and lowest score accepted offer in Note 5 was only an indication for public reference. Owing to different circumstances of individual application, e.g. non-fulfillment of the residence rule, different timing on passing the eligibility vetting, not all the applications under the highest application may have been allocated a public housing flat.
7. Express Flat Allocation Scheme (EFAS) (2009)
The "Second Round Flat Selection" for applicants of 2 or more persons will be commenced in late February 2010. Basing on the numbers, districts and the size of the remaining flats, Housing Department will invite applicants by batches to attend flat selection according to the sequence of the selection priorities.  Letter of notification for flat selection will be sent by mail to the applicants 1 week before their flat selection slot.  For enquiries, please call Housing Authority Hotline at 2712 2712.
