Ma Hang Park in Stanley Officially Opened

Photo: A lush green view in Ma Hang Park.Built by the Housing Authority (HA), Ma Hang Park in Stanley was officially opened on 17 January. This 50 000 square-metre park has preserved the original topography and trees of the site, while being planted with a variety of shrubs and seasonal flowers. Designed under the theme of "conservation, education and recreation", the various functional zones of the park, such as the Education Trail, the Fitness Deck and the Bird Watching Corner, provide interest points for people of all ages.

She also announced that the HA would further enhance the green works in the five years ahead to make the park an attractive habitat for more birds and butterflies.
