Hong Kong Housing Authority and Housing Department

The Hong Kong Housing Authority (HA) has been supporting environmental protection and encouraging staff participation in green activities. More than 120 Housing Department Volunteer Corp (HDVC) members and their family members joined the annual Hong Kong Tree Planting Day held on 25 March to promote the messages of protecting trees and nature, as well as preventing hill fire. The HDVC Chairperson, Mrs Kitty Yan, Assistant Director of Housing (Legal Service) also participated in the activity.

Around 1 700 participants from various organisations planted about 6 000 tree seedlings at Tai Tong of Yuen Long.
