Max SMITH is the General Manager of Project Services which is a Commercialised Business Unit within the Queensland Government Department of Public Works. Project Services provides professional consultancy services, including design and project management for all government facilities, including Public Housing. Max was previously General Manager of another Business Unit, Q-Build, which provides construction and maintenance services to the same range of clients. His particular professional interests are Strategic Asset Management and Risk Management. Max is a Civil Engineer and is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
