Mr Simon LI has taken up the post of Chief Executive of Quality HealthCare Elderly Services Ltd since May 1998. His main task is to establish private elderly care home and related services in Hong Kong. Before joining the Company Mr Li had work for 34 years in public housing in Hong Kong. His last post was Business Director (Management) of the Hong Kong Housing Authority responsible for the day-to-day running of about 200 rental housing and home ownership schemes estates.

He is an active member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and Hong Kong Institute of Housing. He is also actively involved in voluntary services. He is at present Chairman of Society of Homes for the Handicapped, Vice Chairman of Hong Kong Society for the Aged, Member of the Management Committee of the Joint Council for Rehabilitation. He is Chairman of the Diocesan Building and Development Commission of the Hong Kong Catholic Diocese.

He is a Member of the Board of Directors of Aldbury Housing U.K.
