Mr YUEN graduated with a Masters Degree in Urban Planning from the University of Calgary in Canada. Mr YUEN joined the Housing Department as an Assistant Planning Officer in 1980. He became the Chief Planning Officer in 1989 and the Assistant Director/Development in 1992. He is now the Business Director/Development, the head of the Development and Construction Branch in the Housing Department. His major responsibilities are to oversee the planning, design and construction of public housing projects in Hong Kong. He is a member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and the Hong Kong Institute of Planners.
