Mr Terence E SMITH is an architect in private practice in Hong Kong. He was trained in the United Kingdom and has had over 28 years experience in the building industry, the last 25 of which have been in Hong Kong since his arrival in 1974.

He is currently Principal Director and Senior Partner of the Leigh and Orange architectural practice.

He has considerable experience in the residential field and both he and his practice have a number of residential projects to their credit ranging across the whole spectrum of residential design.

The latest residential project he has done is the Cloudlands residential development on the Peak for the Hongkong Bank and his practice is currently involved in a number of Housing Authority projects.

In addition to his work in private practice, he has spent a number of years on the Council of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects and has served on a number of Government Committees. He is currently a board member of the Hong Kong Science Park Company Limited.
