Drama (in Cantonese)

A series of drama featuring life in public rental housing are being organised at the Heritage Museum during the exhibition to create greater interest amongst visitors. This is the first time ever in Hong Kong that performing art will be integrated with an exhibition in a museum.

The drama will be performed on Sundays at 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm on the following dates:

Mr. Ko Tim-keung, a local history expert, will review life in public housing estates in the 50s and 60s. The talk will be supplemented with images and interviews collected by the local expert himself.

Over the past five decades of public housing development, the basic resettlement blocks have been transformed into modern housing estates with comprehensive facilities. Mr Stephen Yim, Senior Architect of the Housing Department, will illustrate the progress made in the design and construction of public housing in Hong Kong.
