A committee has also been established to oversee the progress and performance of our environmental initiatives and action plans. Green Building Green building recognition Each new building designed and constructed by HA must meet the assessment criteria of the Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC)%u2019s Building Environmental Assessment Method Plus for New Buildings (BEAM Plus NB), which provides a lifecycle assessment of the environmental attributes of new buildings. There are four ratings under BEAM Plus NB (i.e., Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum), and we aim for all new buildings to achieve Gold rating standard or above.
