The robot carried out skim coating, grinding, and painting works, enhancing the overall efficiency of these finishing works. The robot employs a laser scanning technique together with artificial intelligence (AI) vision and algorithms to map its surroundings, including obstacles such as ceilings units and pipe ducts, for optimum operational efficiency. The use of the robot also helps eliminate potential hazards to human workers when working at height.HA also tested other types of construction robots in the year for improving building quality, including indoor painting robots that operate on domestic floors with limited space, external wall painting robot to replace worker%u2019s execution of work at height, and welding robots that assist in connecting steel H-piles in foundation works.
