To tackle these challenges, HA has developed HA-PIMAP, a cloud-based digital platform which utilises 3D digital maps and Digital Twin technology to collate and integrate data from diverse Internet of Things (IoT) applications, providing 3D visualisation of our public housing projects at various stages of their planning, design, and construction. HA-PIMAP consolidates safety data, project records, and progress data, and its analytics tools provide critical parameters and index in a visualised project dashboard, generating valuable insights for decision-makers. We began to pilot HA-PIMAP in 2022 at the Yip Wong Road construction site, integrating it with smart site safety systems and IoT devices. For another pilot project at Anderson Road Quarry Sites R2-6 and R2-7, HA-PIMAP has been used to monitor the status of precast units from production to installation, using visualised dashboards.
