                                                               policy. Under this, sitting TPS tenants can enjoy a discount
                                                               of 35% if they purchase their flats in the first year of their
                                                               tenancy, a discount that falls to 17.5% in the second year and
                                                               then terminates thereafter. For one year from 1 September
                                                               2020, the HA has provided sitting TPS tenants who are no
                                                               longer eligible for the first- or second-year discounts with a
                                                               17.5% discount to encourage them to purchase.
