Estate Fire Safety Fire safety is one of our top priorities. Various activities are organised to raise awareness among tenants about fire prevention and how to respond in the case of fire. A Community Promotion Scheme was also launched to encourage non-profit making bodies to organise fire safety activities in public housing estates. |

Safe Use of Lifts and Escalators Proper use of lifts and escalators in public housing estates is important for the safety of the residents. Various educational materials, including a booklet and videos, are available to help them learn the safety guidelines. |

Electrical and Mechanical Safety Apart from publicising the proper use of lifts and escalators, we have also been promoting the safe use of electrical appliances and gas. As a related initiative, we provide tips to our tenants on energy efficiency and how to cut down on their electricity bill. Every year, we join the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department's "E&M Safety Campaign" for concerted publicity efforts. |
