Lam Tin Estate has recently won a Certificate of Merit in the Property Management (Residential) Sector of 2015 Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence (HKAEE). The award presentation ceremony was held on 19 April, officiated by the Secretary for the Environment, Mr Wong Kam-sing.

Jointly organised by the Environmental Campaign Committee (ECC), Environmental Protection Department and main chambers of commerce in Hong Kong, the HKAEE is considered one of the most reputable environmental award schemes. It aims to encourage businesses and organisations to put comprehensive green management and innovations into practice, and to recognise those contribute to protecting the environment.

Lam Tin Estate has also been granted the title of Hong Kong Green Organisation, a prestigious label with high credibility. The honour recognises the Hong Kong Housing Authority’s outstanding leadership in the environmental aspect and affirms our staff’s commitment to green management.
