Hong Kong Housing Authority and Housing Department

The Hong Kong Housing Authority (HA) has proudly received the Gold Award of the Commendation Scheme on Source Separation of Commercial and Industrial Waste 2020/21 organised by the Environmental Protection Department, an honour in two consecutive years after receiving the Silver Award in 2019/20. The award fully recognises the effectiveness of waste separation and recovery mechanisms introduced at the HA Headquarters.

Waste separation and recycling bins are provided at different locations of the HAHQs to collect waste paper, aluminium cans, plastics and glass bottles. HA staff are encouraged to actively participate in waste recovery and put the HA’s green concept into practice.
