Hong Kong Housing Authority and Housing Department

A delegation of the Hong Kong Housing Authority (HA) has recently attended the 26th Conference of the Housing and Urban Public Corporations in Asia (A-HUC) hosted by the Housing and Development Board (HDB) of Singapore. The theme for this year is "The Future of Housing". Delegates from two other member organisations are the Urban Renaissance Agency of Japan (URA) and the Korea Land & Housing Corporation (KLHC) of South Korea.

Held on 16 November, the HA delegates gave two presentations in the Conference, namely "Sustaining a Healthy and Pleasant Living Environment in Public Housing Estates of Hong Kong" and "Combating Climate Change – Towards a Low Carbon Public Housing Design Strategies". The presentation content of the four housing organisations has been uploaded onto the Housing Department’s e-Learning portal for colleagues’ reference. 

The four member organisations of A-HUC – the HA, the HDB, the URA and KLHC – take turns to host the annual conference.
