The Hong Kong Tree Planting Day has been launched again after a three-year break. The Hong Kong Housing Authority (HA) has always been supporting environmental conservation. This year, over 100 Housing Department Volunteers Corp (HDVC) members and their family members joined the Hong Kong Tree Planting Day to promote the messages of preserving natural vegetation and protecting our nature.
Held on 29 April at Tai Tong of Yuen Long, the event received support from various organisations with more than 2 000 volunteers planting over 8 000 tree seedlings.
