Hong Kong Housing Authority and Housing Department

On the day of the last Tuen Ng Festival, I attended the Sha Tin Dragon Boat Race 2023 with Stephen, Deputy Director (Development & Construction), and Michael, Assistant Director (Estate Management) 3 / Chairman of the Housing Authority Staff Club, to cheer for the Housing Department’s Dragon Boat Team.   United and high in morale, our team members made their best efforts in the races that day.  They won the championship of the Construction Industry Council (CIC) 20^th Anniversary Cup of the Hong Kong Construction Sub-contractors Association and the CIC Lo Pan Cup, and was the third runner-up of the TVB Cup.  Apart from the Sha Tin Dragon Boat Race, our Dragon Boat Team also excelled in the Tsuen Wan District Dragon Boat Race and the Eastern District Dragon Boat Race, winning third place in the Mixed-Gender Medium Dragon Cup (Silver Plate), fourth place in the Hong Kong and Macao Governments Friendship Cup (Gold Cup), the championship in the Government Departments’ Invitation Silver Cup, as well as a merit award in the Mixed-Gender Medium Dragon Gold Plate Race.  I would like to extend my congratulations once again to the Dragon Boat Team for their exceptional achievements!  After the races in Sha Tin, we moved to the multi-purpose room in Wo Che Estate to have roast pig cutting to celebrate the joy and the festive season with team members, their relatives and friends together.
