Observations from safety audits are invaluable for the construction industry in Hong Kong to better understand Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) trade practices. To continuously enhance OSH conditions on construction sites, the Housing Authority also actively encourages contractors to go extra mile with new safety innovations.

During routine safety audits, under HASAS (Housing Authority Safety Audit Scheme), auditors take photographs and note down good and bad OSH practices observed as well as safety innovations that have been introduced by contractors in construction sites.
