Hong Kong Housing Authority and Housing Department

The short video on Public Housing Development in Hong Kong produced by the Hong Kong Housing Authority (HA) has proudly received a Silver Award in the Educational/Informational category of the 32^nd Annual Mercury Awards, in recognition of our achievement in corporate communications.

The video is tailor-made for children aged 3 to 7. A vivid and interesting approach is adopted with a cartoon character as the storyteller to introduce the public housing development in Hong Kong. Real setting shooting mixed with 2D animation is arranged to enhance children’s understanding on the life of tenants in public housing estates.

Over 600 entries from 17 countries around the world entered the competition this year. The HA’s awarded video can be viewed from HA/Housing Department Website and the HA’s channel on YouTube.
