Acacia confusa Taiwan Acacia
Height: up to 15 metres Crown Spread: up to 10 metres

Acacia confusa is an evergreen tree native to Taiwan and the Philippines.

Its ability to grow on infertile soil and stand up against adverse weather condition such as strong winds makes it popular in many afforestation programs in Hong Kong, especially in country parks in the New Territories. Blooming usually in April, its spherical yellow flower is easily recognizable by the crescent-shaped phyllode.
