Transfer
Transfer
Public rental housing (PRH) tenants may need to transfer to another PRH flat under various situations. For example, a tenant may want to move to a bigger flat if his / her family has grown in size; or he / she may need to live in a different district due to special reasons. Tenants affected by our major improvement or redevelopment / estate clearance programmes may also need to move to another flat.
Subject to the availability of PRH resources, we have the following transfer schemes to cater for tenants' different needs:
- Harmonious Families Transfer Exercise
- Territory-wide Overcrowding Relief Exercise and Living Space Improvement Transfer Scheme
- Full Rent Exemption Scheme for Elderly Households
- Internal Transfer
- Special Transfer
- Thinning-out Transfer under Estate Clearance Project
- Transfer for Major Repairs / Improvement Programmes
- Transfer of Tenants Occupying Converted One-person Flats / Housing for Senior Citizens Type 1
- Transfer for Under-occupation Households
