Rent Enquiry Services

Tenants (Note 1) can check their own rent (Note 2) payment status through the iHousing Mobile Application, the e-Services for Public Rental Housing Tenants, or convenience stores.


iHousing Mobile Application (“iHousing”)

Through using the “iHousing” (Note 3), tenants can check their rent position (Note 4 and 5), rent payment history for the past six months, receive rent payment reminders by push notification, and locate the nearby convenience stores and Estate Shroff Offices for rent payment by using the Global Positioning System.

e-Services for Public Rental Housing Tenants (“e-Services”)

Tenants can enquire their rent payment position and rent payment history any time through the “Rent Enquiry function” of our “e-Services” (Note 3, 4 and 5).

Rent Enquiry Service at Convenience Stores

Tenants can enquire their rent payment position (Note 4 and 5) at 7-Eleven, Circle K, VanGO Convenience Stores, or U Select.  Simply present a Quick Response (QR) Code provided by the "iHousing" or the Housing Department (HD) e-Payment Card to the cashier of convenience stores for checking the payable amount.

“iAM Smart”

Tenants can enable “iAM Smart” to log in “iHousing” and “e-Services”; and use the enabled the rent enquiry service.

Note 1:     Refers to both tenants of public rental housing (PRH) and licencees of interim housing (IH).
Note 2:     Refers to both the rent of PRH and the licence fee of IH.
Note 3:     If you are a first-time “iHousing” / “e-Services” user, you have to create a personal account by inputting your Electronic Payment Tenant Code which is shown on your HD e-Payment Card, and fill in some personal particulars as specified to verify your identity. 
Note 4:    Systems will update their databases on rent payment after midnight every day.
Note 5:     For payments through electronic means including FPS, PPS, ATM or at convenience stores, please allow three working days before checking.  For payments through Internet Banking or Phone Banking, please enquire relevant banks about the days required for checking of payment record. For payment made at estate shroff offices, please allow one working day before checking the most recent payment.
