Dr the Honourable Webster NG Kam-wah, JP
Dr Webster NG Kam-wah is a Fellow Certified Public Accountant (Practising), a Chartered Tax Adviser and a Registered Six Sigma Champion of the Six Sigma Institute. He obtained his Doctor of Business Administration degree from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2025. Dr Ng is currently a Member of the Legislative Council (Accountancy).
Dr Ng is the founder of Webster Ng & Co., the Managing Director of AC CPA Limited and a Senior Partner of Uniontax (Shenzhen) International Tax Agent Firm Co. Limited. He is also the Independent Non-Executive Director and the Chairman of the Audit Committee of two listed companies.
Dr Ng serves as a member of the Sixth Election Committee (Accountancy), a past President and a current Council Member of the Society of Chinese Accountants and Auditors (SCAA), a past President and a current Advisory Board Member of the Taxation Institute of Hong Kong (TIHK), and the Director of the Accountancy Development Foundation Limited and the Accountancy Caring Alliance Limited. Additionally, he is a member of the Tax Policy Committee of the TIHK and appointed as an Honorary Council Member of the China Certified Tax Agents Association (CCTAA), a Research Committee Member of the China International Taxation Research Institute, and an Accounting Consultant of the Department of Finance of Guangdong Province.
Dr Ng holds various positions in the accountancy sector, serving as a member of the Small and Medium Practices Committee of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) and the SME Subcommittee of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Hong Kong.
In terms of public service, Dr Ng currently serves as a member of the Advisory Committee of the Accounting and Financial Reporting Council, the Competition Commission and the Hong Kong Housing Authority, the Honorary Treasurer of the Social Workers Registration Board, the Non-Executive Director and the Chairman of the Audit Committee of the eMPF Platform Company Limited, and a Council Member of the Hong Kong Professionals and Senior Executives Association (HKPASEA). He was an awardee of Distinguished Service for Community Building in 2018 and appointed as a Justice of the Peace in 2022.
A holder of multiple professional qualifications, Dr Ng has the Fellow status of HKICPA, ACCA, TIHK, SCAA, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and the Hong Kong Institute of Directors (HKIoD). He is also a member of the Hong Kong Independent Non-Executive Director Association (HKiNEDA) and the Association of Hong Kong Professionals (AHKP), and a founding member of HKPASEA.
