Domestic Removal Allowance
Domestic Removal Allowance (DRA) is payable to the households who are affected by Estate Clearance and are eligible for rehousing to meet part of expenses of removal. The amount of DRA is based on the eligible registered household sizes.
Cash Allowance - Singleton
Single-person household can opt to receive a Singleton Allowance in lieu of rehousing plus Domestic Removal Allowance. Upon receipt of the allowance, they are debarred from further payments of the allowance and any form of subsidized housing for two years.
Cash Allowance - 2-person Household
Two-person household can opt to receive a Doubleton Allowance in lieu of rehousing plus Domestic Removal Allowance. Upon receipt of the allowance, they are debarred from further payments of the allowance and any form of subsidized housing for two years.
